Raised in Tucson/Arizona (home of Linda Ronstadt), Natalie's musical travels have taken her across the country and around the world. She is a member of a wandering race that mirrors the mobility of an artist in a musical tradition in which touring is a way of life and eclectic song selection a personal mandate. While touring Europe in the 80's, she was asked to join the prominent bluegrass groups Freewheelin' & The Bluegrass Rendez-Vous. Their unmatched rhythm and timing were absorbed and supported by Natalie's rock-steady bass playing. Natalie owns a full voice rich in confidence which brings tremendous vocal flexibility to all her work with Turquoise. In full mastery of her warm alto voice, she is able to carry a song with conviction few can match.
